Please help us to raise as much money as possible through the BIG BIKE RIDE by following our top tips below. Remember that every penny you raise will be going towards our vital services to help give more children someone to turn to.

Think BIG fundraising

Here are our top tips to getting the most sponsorship for your part in the BIG BIKE RIDE:

  • Set up your own fundraising page through JustGiving in just a few minutes and email to friends, family, colleagues and any other potential sponsors.
  • You can also promote the BIG BIKE RIDE in your email signature or online blogs.
  • Ask the person likely to be most generous to sponsor you first as others are then likely to follow suit!
  • Gift Aid it! Don't forget to encourage all UK tax paying sponsors to tick the Gift Aid box on the sponsorship forms. This way in every £1 you raise we receive another 25p from the Government.
  • Matched funding - find out if your company has a match-giving scheme as many will match employees fundraising £1 for £1.
  • Carry the sponsorship form from your pack everywhere you go so you're always ready to tell people about your challenge.
  • Let everyone know that their support will be helping the NSPCC make a difference to children.
  • You can download more sponsorship forms from this site.
