

Now in its third year, the BIG BIKE RIDE is a nationwide fundraising event in aid of the NSPCC's work with children and young people. By getting on your bike and raising money, you will help us to ensure that all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential.
Last year, thousands of people took to their bikes in hundreds of rides across the UK and the Channel Islands. From motorbike rides to static bike races, hundred mile challenges to work place cycle competitions or just a few laps of the local park; everyone found their own way to join in the fun! Together, our team of BIG BIKErs raised more than £175,000 last year. They helped to fund vital services such as our National Child Protection Helpline and ChildLine service.
In fact, last year's total could answer 50,000 calls to ChildLine, giving children and young people someone to turn to when they need to talk. One ChildLine caller told us what a difference one of our volunteer counsellors has made for them:
