The funds you raise in the BIG BIKE RIDE make a difference for thousands of children and young people, as more than 87 per cent of the NSPCC's funding comes from voluntary donations. Without the money raised through events such as the BIG BIKE RIDE, we would have to close our 180 vital services for children and young people within seven to eight months.

Whether it's £10 or £10,000, the money you raise will help to ensure we can continue to provide the services that children and young people need. Your money could help in the following ways:
£11 could pay for a 15 minute Ask Sam session on There4me, our online support service, providing a private and safe environment for young people to talk about their problems.
£28 could answer three calls to our Child Protection Helpline from anyone worried about the wellbeing of a child or young person.
£70 could cover two months freephone call costs for a ChildLine counsellor, enabling thousands of children to make that vital free call for help.
£100 could enable our counselors to speak to 33 children and young people calling ChildLine when they need someone to talk to.
£250 could give 10 children, young people or adults the chance to talk for an hour with a Helpline worker allowing them to feel safe to share their concerns.
£314 could fund two days' work for one of our children's service practitioners, giving children and young people the help and support they need.
£500 could pay for a child or young person in need of support, to take part in a course of counseling with an NSPCC counselor at school.
