Of course! There are two ways you can do this:
- If you simply want to tell family and friends about the BIG BIKE RIDE and this website then you can send them an email.
- If you have registered to organise your own event, you can then create your own event page and you can invite your friends through that.

Facebook is an online social network which connects you with friends and others who work, study and live around you.
What better way to let all your friends and other NSPCC supporters know about the BIG BIKE RIDE!
Get updates from the BIG BIKE RIDE team, see photos and video clips of past and upcoming bike rides, leave messages on the group wall, and take part in discussions ranging from fundraising ideas to how to avoid those nasty blisters. Invite your friends to the BIG BIKE RIDE group too!
If you are organising your own bike ride you can set up your BIG BIKE RIDE event on Facebook. Invite all your friends and then use it to manage your event.
All of the NSPCC bike rides can be found on Facebook as events. You can find them listed under 'Events we're hosting' in the BIG BIKE RIDE group.
Each event gives the rides' details and registration form. Similar to a group, you and your friends can leave messages on the wall, post discussion topics and upload photos and videos. Watch out for messages from the bike ride organiser!
Facebook is your chance to get involved in the online BIG BIKE RIDE community. See you there!
You don't need to be an athlete to take part in the BIG BIKE RIDE, but we do ask that you assess the length and difficulty of the route you are riding, to ensure that you are fit enough to do the ride. If you have any doubt, please contact your doctor for advice.
Setting up your own sponsorship page through JustGiving is a quick, simple and safe way to collect sponsorship. It takes just a few minutes and you can send the link to all your friends and family from friends, family, colleagues… and anyone else! They can then donate safely online using a debit or credit card.
You can also download a sponsorship form to take everywhere you go! See our fundraising tips page for more ideas.
If you are looking for a friend or colleague to sponsor, you can do so quickly and easily at: www.justgiving.com/nspccbigbikeride.
Don't worry - you can still help make a difference for children by making a donation! Just follow the online instructions. You can also show your support by joining and asking your friends to join the BIG BIKE RIDE Facebook group.
